Shout It Out!

The NC Colts Cheerleading program promotes discipline and team values, through safe cheer instruction following The U.S. All Star Federation (USAAF) guidelines for safety and coaching. We offer both sideline and competition cheer for ages 3-14, based on age, as of August 31st.

About Our Cheer Program

The North Carroll Colts Cheer Program provides a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment for cheer athletes in North Carroll and surrounding communities.

Our program supports entry-level through advanced cheer skills, including:

  • Choreography

  • Stunting

  • Tumbling

We focus on building confidence, teamwork, athleticism, and school spirit, while keeping cheer fun and rewarding for athletes and families.

Cheer Programs Offered

We offer two cheer pathways based on age, skill level, and commitment:

Sideline Cheer

  • Ages: 3–6

  • Season: Fall only

  • Focus: Sideline cheers at football games

  • Competitions: No competitions

Sideline-only teams are specifically designed for:

  • Ages 3-5 (and occasionally older athletes)

  • Athletes who are still developing focus, maturity, or readiness for competition routines

These teams cheer at home and away football games following the CCYFCL schedule.

Competitive Cheer

  • Ages: 5–13

  • Season Options: Fall and Winter

  • Focus: Sideline cheering and competitions

  • Competitions: Typically 3 competitions per season

Team placement is determined by a combination of age and skill level.
Athletes must meet the age requirement as of December 31 of the cheer season.
